How Do I Cancel My Membership?

If you have a Full Access membership to the Quit Commuting Academy, you may cancel your membership at any time.


Please note, you will receive an email 2-3 days prior to your monthly subscription billing which will give you the chance to cancel before your billing period to avoid being billed. 


You will not receive a refund for your monthly billing fee, however, you will not be billed going forward. 


You will continue to have Full Access until the end of the billing cycle you choose to cancel. 


First, you'll need to confirm which platform you signed up through. Click on your avatar in the top right of the screen in the community



Click on "Your Plans and Purchases"



It will take you to your plans. If your plan starts with [TC] you signed up through Thrivecart, continue for instructions on how to cancel through Thrivecart. 


If your plan starts with [MN], you signed up through Mighty Networks, scroll further down for instructions on how to cancel through Mighty Networks.


If you have multiple plans and you're confused, it's all good. Send us an email or submit a ticket and let us know what you are trying to cancel, we'll help you out.


If you have [TC] in front of your plan


You'll need to cancel your account in an application called Thrivecart. Click here to get your unique dashboard link. You'll be taken to a page that requires you to enter the email address you registered with. Once you do, you will be sent a link to your dashboard. 



You will receive an email similar to below. If you do not see this email in your inbox immediately, please check your promotions, junk, or spam folders. 


Click the link in this email to be taken to your dashboard.



Your dashboard will show your products, payment plans, and subscriptions. Click on subscriptions



You will be taken to your subscriptions. Click on the "View" button next to the subscription you wish to cancel



You will be taken to a screen that provides the details of your subscription including your next payment date. Click on cancel subscription. 



You will be asked if you are sure you want to cancel your subscription.



And you'll be asked again ?



You will not lose access to your course. You will ONLY lose access to your subscription-based membership. Your membership will continue to the end of your billing period (your next due date). 


If you have [MN] in front of your plan


You signed up for your subscription through the Mighty Networks Platform. You can cancel your subscription directly in the communty by clicking on your avatar in the top right-hand corner of the screen, then clicking on Your Purchases:



A screen will appear showing your purchases, upcoming subscription, and the date you will be billed:


To avoid being billed before that date, click box under "Upcoming Charges" OR "Active Subscriptions", and you will land on the screen where you can cancel your upcoming subscription by clicking on the "Cancel Subscription" button at the bottom of the screen. Please note, in order to avoid being charged, you must cancel your subscription before your next billing date. You will also receive an email each month 2-3 days before you are billed to remind you. 



We will not process refunds for the monthly subscription fee. However, if you cancel before your next billing date, you will not be charged in the future.
